April Fool’s / National Poetry Month / My New Blog

Welcome to Rabbits in Green Weather, my blog about books, poems, recipes, yoga, a certain border collie, life in a small Ohio village complete with whining about the squirrel that won’t stop chewing on my car.

It’s the first day of National Poetry Month, when we, the sad introverts of the world, call out the rest of you who may have failed to appreciate sufficiently the astonishing verbal carpentry we labor at, day after day, for your edification and entertainment.

Stay tuned.

  1. Is the picture above from England? I think our post would have to be “Ocean in Crystal Weather.” The bright sun here brings a clarity to everything. For example, in our visit to Mamallapuram, the 7th century temple complex, the brilliant blue of the water brought a sharp contrast to the sand-colored stone temple and the bright green grass.

    • I think the picture is in Cornwall. It looks a little like one of those beautiful coastal walks near St. Ives. So, yes and no. England if you ask the English. Cornwall if you ask the Cornish.

  2. Introverts? Who says? You have to be crazy brave to stand up in front of a bunch of people – most of whom you don’t know and bare your heart and soul in words.

Nay, do not go quietly into that reading! 🙂

  3. Introverts? Not. You have to be crazy brave to stand up in front of a room full of people most of whom you do not know and bare your heart and soul in words outloud.

Nay, do not go quietly into that reading! 🙂
